{"id":23,"date":"2016-12-01T18:19:29","date_gmt":"2016-12-01T18:19:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/jhlforestry.ca\/site\/?page_id=23"},"modified":"2020-04-21T16:03:13","modified_gmt":"2020-04-21T16:03:13","slug":"home","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/jhlforestry.ca\/site\/","title":{"rendered":"JHL Forestry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\">. . . is a First Nation\u2019s business partnership <\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">operating<br \/>in northeastern Alberta since 2004.<\/span><\/h1>\n<h3>\u00a0<\/h3>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\">Chipewyan Prairie First Nation located in Janvier Alberta <br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">and Heart Lake First Nation formed a partnership in 2003 <br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">with a large pulp producer, Alberta-Pacific Forest Industries (Al-Pac), <br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">to create a sustainable logging company.<\/span><\/h3>\n<h5>\u00a0<\/h5>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\">Al-Pac provided hands on leadership, management and direction <\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">for the new venture <br \/>and remains active on the JHL board of directors.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\">Logging operations commenced in early 2004 <\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">on the Al-Pac Forest Management Area (FMA) <br \/><\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">in the northeastern boreal region of Alberta.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<h5 style=\"text-align: left;\"><span style=\"color: #003300;\">JHL Forestry has grown into a full service \u201cstump to roadside\u201d <\/span><span style=\"color: #003300;\">logging contractor <br \/>with a capacity of 300,000 m<sup>3<\/sup> per year.<\/span><\/h5>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"alignnormal\"><div id=\"metaslider-id-31\" style=\"max-width: 1010px;
